Children's MinistryAt New Life we have an active Children's ministry. Children are invited to join our staff of courageous (or was that outrageous?) volunteers on Sunday mornings during Sunday School and the second half of the morning service.
Kidz Life Sunday School meets at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We currently have two classes available: age 4 - 2nd grade, and 3rd - 6th grade. Wee Kidz is also available during this hour for children up through 3 years of age.
Kidz Life Church is for children pre-K to 3rd grade. Children are dismissed just before the message on Sunday mornings in order to receive Bible teaching in a fun and engaging way that helps them to understand God's Word and apply it to their lives.
Kidz Life Puppet Team: About once per quarter, a team of children puts on a puppet show during the morning service. We're always looking for new puppeteers. We practice on Wednesday nights during the adult Bible study and have a time of Bible study for the kids as part of the practice. See Miss Missy at church if you would like to put your creativity to use on our puppet team.
Wee Kidz is our caring nursery ministry to children birth to 3 years old. We look forward to ministering to your young ones while you are ministered to in the Sunday Morning Service. Of course, if you prefer to keep your children with you in the service, that is fine, too.
AWANA: At this time, New Life does not have its own children's club program, however Harvester Baptist Church, around the corner from New Life Community Church, does have an AWANA program that several children from our church attend. We are blessed to have a great relationship with Harvester and are thankful for their willingness to include us in their ministry. AWANA meets at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday nights during the schoolyear.
